my training with Ana reconnected me with my spirit, something that I am so grateful for, that upon realization hereof on the very last day of our training, I pledged to never ever loose that connection with my spirit again. it was also then that I realized that the impact of our daily homework to “do something that nourishes your spirit, once a day, every day….” had been so powerful beyond my belief; it brought my spirit back home. another assignment we had was to write reports about the beauty that we have seen and to share them. . the two weeks that I have spent in Hawai’i nourished me even more. nourishing my spirit in an environment of beauty and serenity was absolutely no challenge, especially in the nearly tangible presence of other spirits. the beauty did not come from form or appearance, the turquoise water, the sandy beaches, the greeny hills or the rocky mountains only, but it was the beauty in the energy of the island, being so close to mother nature, it felt almost as if every step I made was making an imprint on her skin. that was the proximity I felt with the nature. . knowing that I will be going back to a city with skyscrapers and concrete, I knew I was going to have a hard time adjusting. so I sent my spirit ahead of me back to Hong Kong to check out the place and to tell me what I can do to make it happy. . it came back asking me to teach. that led to setting up a class and organizing space for my very first class. it also let to setting up a workshop in Singapore and getting in touch with Shanghai to do the same. I was all fired up! . the fires of my surroundings also sparkled inspiration for my website and within 30 minutes I produced a logo that I loved and was connected to in heart and spirit. the website www.breathe-unlimited.com was born. . when I came back to Hong Kong, it was not such a big shock, it was not such a big surprise, it was not such a big deal altogether. I realized that in order to truly stay connected to my spirit, I must make bigger efforts to nourish it. writing beauty reports only was not enough and as I was looking in my notebook, I saw my intent log. the pages of intents we set for our practice every morning. sometimes Ana would give an intent for us to work with, sometimes she would give us options to choose from, and sometimes we were encouraged to set our own intents. . that was the answer to staying vibrantly connected with my spirit and that is how I kept a log of my intents on Facebook as well. they are traces of reminders as I thread through the waters finding the bottom floor to get grounded. they are my mental reminders. I have now migrated them to this blog, as they belong here.
